EPIC

Creating a sustainable ministry to young people takes a team with a heart for Christ and a mindset for relationship. And in an ever-changing cultural landscape, having the right tools and knowledge can make all the difference. In this training series, gather a team and learn how to minister to young people, so as to better “listen, teach, and send” them in your community. Email orivera@dioc-fr.org to schedule.

The Catechist Lab

Catechesis is much more than teaching knowledge of the Faith. In this training series, form your catechists on the heart of an Evangelizing Catechesis, learn how to first accompany those you serve toward conversion, provide them with practical skillsets, and help them craft catechetical instruction that seeks to disciple.  Email dcarvalho2@dioc-fr.org to schedule.

Keys to Evangelize

The “E” word. Every Catholic is meant to evangelize by virtue of their Baptism. But evangelization is not meant to be scary. In fact, you may already be doing it. And the truth of the matter is that the future of our Church depends on our willingness to do so. In this workshop, learn 5 basic keys to evangelizing someone right in your daily life. Email dcarvalho2@dioc-fr.org to schedule.

Family Matters

Family life can be hard, now more than ever. But it’s exactly through the family that Christ seeks to build up the Church. But how do you do it? What are ways families can make Christ the center of their home amidst a busy life? How can parents navigate talking with their kids, especially about uncertain topics or matters of faith? This workshop seeks to empower families with these answers and more. Email dcarvalho2@dioc-fr.org to schedule.

OCIA Blueprint

The Baptismal Catechumenate is the normative path for individuals, beyond the age of reason, to be fully initiated into the Catholic faith. Or put another way, the OCIA is the key way for parishes to bring individuals into the Church. But what does OCIA even stand for? In this training series, form and equip a team to help your parish invite, form, and accompany individuals to receive the Sacraments of Initiation and become active members of the Church. Email cpaul@dioc-fr.org to schedule.
