The Wild Goose

Adult Small Group Series

Alpha
Alpha is organized as a series of sessions over 10 weeks, including a day or weekend away. Each session starts with a meal, followed by a talk and then discussion in small groups. The talks aim to cover the basic beliefs of the Christian faith.

Catholic Christian Outreach
CCO works with college campuses and parishes to evangelize their campuses, in part establishing small group discipleship, drawing from five small group study series.

ChristLife
ChristLife equips Catholics for the essential work of evangelization, offering both training and three small group discipleship series: discover, follow, share.

Discipleship Quads
Made by the Steubenville Conferences, it offers materials and resources to launch 4-person small groups geared toward intentional community, prayer, formation, and discussion.

Sycamore
Offers an an informal course about the Catholic faith and its relevance for life today, ideally done in a small group setting. It gives individuals space to meet other people, share ideas, explore beliefs, and think about questions that really matter.

That Man Is You

Walking with Purpose

Accepting the Gift
Accepting the Gift was started by a special needs mom as a conference in 2019 with the goal to connect Catholic special needs parents with each other, as well as with great speakers and resources. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a tactile, Montessori approach to faith formation. While it is a catechetical model that can be used for multiple ages and ability levels, they offer direction on using this model with individuals with special needs.

Community Autism Resources

Deacon Larry Sutton, Ph.D.
Deacon Larry Sutton Ph.D. is an ordained permanent deacon for the Diocese of Pittsburgh and a psychologist specializing in autism. He is director of the Western Pennsylvania Office of Autism Services and is nationally recognized for developing his own system for providing religious education to children with developmental disabilities.

Hands of Grace – ASL Series
Created by Ascension Press, Hands of Grace: The Catholic Sacraments in American Sign Language is an innovative program that features video presentations by Father Séan Loomis teaching in ASL, as well as a workbook that is specifically designed with a visual emphasis to provide a better, dynamic learning experience for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Through 7-sessions, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the sacraments and the Catholic Faith.

National Catholic Office for the Deaf
The National Catholic Office for the Deaf is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to pastoral ministry with deaf and hard of hearing persons. NCOD serves 5.7 million deaf and hard of hearing Catholics through its pastoral ministry and through its special advocacy to bishops, pastors and families with children who are deaf and hard of hearing.

Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Program
A comprehensive religion curriculum designed to help parents and catechists in their task of teaching special needs children and adults about the Catholic faith, this program may be used in a variety of religious education settings: parish religious education, either in an inclusive classroom or in a specialized setting. Chastity Project
Jason and Crystalina Evert are the founders of Chastity Project, and have spoken on six continents to more than one million people about the benefits of abstinence. The Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) is a college campus ministry organization, geared to evangelizing colleges through FOCUS missionaries.The FOCUS Equip website provides resources for small group discipleship that can be helpful even in a youth ministry setting.

Fraternus
Fraternus is a Catholic brotherhood for all ages. Fraternus chapters bring together men of the parish to mentor young men in intentional Catholic discipleship through chapter Frat Nights and Excursions.

LifeTeen
