Retreats

You are here:

Whenever a young person falls, in some sense all humanity falls. Yet it is also true that when a young person rises, it is as if the whole world rises as well. Young people, what great potential you have in your hands! What great strength you have in your hearts! Today too, God is saying to each one of you: ‘Arise!’… ‘Arise! I have appointed you to testify to what you have seen’ (Acts 26:16).

Diocesean Youth Weekend Retreat

The YES! Retreat is a three-day weekend retreat experience run by a Board of Directors and sponsored by the Secretariat for the New Evangelization. The YES! Retreat provides high school youth an opportunity to encounter God through the sacraments, testimony, fellowship, and a closer examination of self and relationships with others. The experience allows young people to affirm their confirmation promises and return to their communities with renewed conviction and empowerment to bring Christ to others.
