Catholic Youth Day

The Diocesan Youth Day celebrates the Catholic Church's annual World Youth Day locally, in between the international World Youth Day. It is a shared initiative between the Bishop's Office and the Office of Faith Formation. Held each year on Cape Cod, the day brings together young people from the Diocese for a summer experience, activities, speakers, music, Mass, and Adoration.

The next CYD is Aug 14 on Martha's Vineyard!  Group registration is now closed.

4th Watch

4th Watch offers a one-night opportunity to be inspired by speaking and worship teams,  encounter Christ in Eucharistic Adoration, and experience mercy in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. In Scripture, during the 4th watch of the night, Jesus came to the Apostles while they kept watch on their boat. Jesus is coming. Meet Him at 4th Watch.

January 23 - Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs, Seekonk

March 27 - Taunton Catholic North (St Anthony, Taunton)

Bring 4th Watch to your parish or school:

Christian Leadership Institute

The Christian Leadership Institute (CLI) is a six-day long leadership training experience for high school age youth sponsored by the Office of Faith Formation. CLI seeks to foster the leadership potential of our young Church by heightening each person's gifts and talents for various ministerial roles and responsibilities in their parishes, schools and greater communities.

CLI will not take place in 2021.

New dates for 2022 are currently being planned.

YES! Retreat

The YES! Retreat is a three-day weekend retreat experience run by a Board of Directors and sponsored by the Office of Faith Formation. The YES! Retreat provides high school youth an opportunity to encounter God through the sacraments, testimony, fellowship, and a closer examination of self and relationships with others. The experience allows young people to affirm their confirmation promises and return to their communities with renewed conviction and empowerment to bring Christ to others.

The next YES! Retreat will take place March 11-13, 2022
