The Men of St. Joseph meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month at St. Francis Xavier School in Acushnet. A meal is served at 6:30pm, followed by an inspiring presentation and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Confessions are available during Adoration. The Men’s Spirituality Group meets for prayer, discussion and brotherhood on the first Monday of each month beginning on October 3 at 6pm in room M1 at Our Lady of Victory Parish in Centerville. This year, they will be using a video program entitled “The Spiritual Life-The Keys to Growing Closer To God” as well as the book “Trustful Surrender to Divine Providence.”

The Men of St. Joseph is open to all men. Sessions address the various challenges that Catholic men are facing in today’s world. Meetings are held on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, from 7:00-8:00pm (doors open at 6:45pm). Fraternus is a group for men and their sons. Meetings include dinner, an activity (like dodgeball), a short presentation on a virtue and age-appropriate discussion for young men (ages 11-18). “Faith and Fromage” is a gathering of men which combines fellowship faith and food. Men discuss a variety of Catholic content (books, video series etc.) and apply it to their lives. Holy Cross Family Ministries hosts Brothers of the Carpenter, a monthly reflection and fellowship for men. The TMIY! program addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of Man fully alive!

Fall River
The Fall River Ironmen gather for a Monthly Men’s Holy Hour on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 6:30-8:00pm. Each month the Holy Hour is hosted by a different parish in the deanery. During the Holy Hour men pray the Rosary and listen to a brief reflection. Also, a priest is available to hear Confessions. Light refreshments are served after Adoration. Contact Dcn. Holy Name Parish hosts a men’s breakfast on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Men may gather with the parish community for Mass at 8am in the church (located at 709 Hanover St.). Confessions are offered after Mass. Men may walk or drive the short distance to Holy Name School (850 Pierce St.) for breakfast (8:30am) and a presentation (9:00am). The program concludes by 10:00 am.
Mashpee
