Bible study for Catholics is one of the greatest needs in parishes across the country. In 2009-2010 the Office of Faith Formation designed a one year training program to help adults learn to lead Bible sharing groups within their own parishes. 12 participants from 4 parishes in the Fall River and New Bedford deaneries will soon complete the one year training program focused on the New Testament.
For 2011-2010 year, Sr. Frances Thomas, Assistant Director of Catechesis and Formation will once again be offering six week programs.
This program is open to anyone wishing to learn more about facilitating a scripture/Bible sharing group in their parish.
Sessions will be offered in the Fall of 2011.
Space is limited to 15 participants for each group.
Cost is $50 for the 24 weeks or $25 for each 12 weeks. Registration covers the cost of books and other materials.
